Grant recently spoke to People magazine on the red carpet at the Los Angeles Beverly Arts Icon Awards and said she feels comfortable going to events alone.
“The good news about falling in love as an adult is that I had built my own career by the time my relationship started,” Grant said. “I feel very confident in my relationship on the red carpet. That’s all I feel confident about.”
Reeves is well known for being discreet about his private life, especially when it comes to his love life.
Reeves referred to Grant as his “darling”.
“What I love about Kean and our exchange is that we push each other to build new roads,” Grant told the publication. “He’s such an inspiration to me. He’s so creative, he’s so kind. He works so hard.”
The award-winning visual artist also sees similarities in her work and her “John Wick” co-star.
“Sometimes I feel like making a movie, as we see now with the strike, it’s a cruise ship.” Everyone is dependent on everyone else,” Grant said. “You can’t walk away and—as an artist, maybe early in my career I was in a kayak in a sea of creativity. It may be a small powerboat now, but it’s still a lot more nimble.”
“I think it’s very inspiring for him,” she added.
